History –
Bader, Burke & Company, Inc. (“BBC”) originated in 1983 as a partnership between Steven Bader and William Burke.  Incorporated in 1985, BBC has been in operation, under the same name, since its origin. In 1988 Steve Bader decided to devote his time to working for Camp IdRaHaJe, a Christian youth camp in Bailey, CO, and sold his interest in the business to Timothy Crossen, at that time, a foreman employed by the company since it’s inception. The company’s present ownership is held equally by these two shareholders, with Bill Burke acting as Vice President and Tim Crossen as President.

 Operations –
The company’s core business is commercial wood framing and exterior trim. A majority of that work is performed on a turnkey basis, with BBC furnishing the materials and managing the process. Each of the members of the senior management team has over twenty-five years of experience in wood frame construction
We believe our philosophy of a commitment to integrity and letting everything else follow, is responsible for the unparalleled longevity of the business. Together with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, BBC has succeeded in growing the business through the ups and downs of the market. Flexibility is a key to success in this industry, and the variety of the jobs that we have performed is a testament to that. From a thousand dollar blocking job to seven figure retirement communities, we have accomplished for our customers whatever they have needed done. Whether that is Traditional Wood Framing & Exterior Trim, Heavy Timber Framing, Tongue and Groove Decking, Steel Stud Framing or James Hardie Siding on a Steel Framed or CMU Building, Remodel or New Construction, we are willing and capable of making it happen. We count over 45 of the Front Range area’s best General Contractors as satisfied, repeat customers. Earlier this decade, when steel prices first began to escalate, and architects and engineers began to integrate more wood into their designs, we recognized the trend, and modified our business to accept the challenge of applying our wood construction experience in new and innovative ways, in conjunction with what had been more typical commercial materials. Our willingness to adapt our processes to those innovative designs has fueled our growth, and challenged our preparation. By observing how our customers prepared their jobs and implemented their processes, we were convinced that we needed to adapt. Beginning in 2005 we added the engineering process to our job preparation, which enabled us to provide a new level of service. Our experience in residential framing is extensive, and goes back 30 years, but our involvement in commercial construction during the more recent past gives us the experience you need. ($8,000,000 in Commercial framing in 2007.)  As the market has presented challenges to our industry, our stability has allowed us to respond to the need. Our bonding capacity is currently in the $5–$6,000,000 range.  And we have been able to increase our insurance coverage each of the last 3 years by aggressively negotiating with the underwriters.

As the company has grown, we have realized that our business has more to do with people than it does with buildings. Not only the interaction with our customer and integration with their processes, but even more so with our own people. We have learned that if we want to continue to perform at the level we are accustomed to, and our
Customers expect and demand, we must focus on the security and growth of our people.
As a result we have implemented a safety program that has reduced our accident occurrence to almost nothing. An added benefit of this program has been that our on site processes resulted in no citations in three OSHA inspections of jobsites at which we were working.

We also learned that in order to maintain those high standards, we needed to find, and keep, good people. Understanding that people need more than just a good wage, but also want to feel valued for what they do, and have the ability to care for their families, and feel secure about their future, we decided to put together a package that would provide, as much as possible, all of those things. Our employee benefit package “is not just competitive for your industry, it is one of the best I’ve ever heard of, period.” Because of that, we have been able to attract the most experienced and capable group of management and field staff, that we have ever had in our 25 years of business.

Coupled with our comprehensive background in framing, Bader Burke & Company also has extensive experience in home repair and warranty service. Fixation, LLC, the home repair and enhancement division of the company provides full warranty and repair services for assistance in the final construction and one-year warranty process.  These are services that some trade contractors may struggle with or are not equipped to deal with or provide.  Bader, Burke’s Fixation has qualified technicians that understand not only our Customer’s perspective, but also an Owner’s unique needs and requirements, which facilitates the successful performance of any warranty repairs.  Click here to visit Fixation's website at www.fixationllc.com.

Our innovative approach and commitment to excellence are summed up in our slogan, which is also the opening line of our mission statement,
 The Relentless Pursuit of Perfection
The BBC Mission Statement is a call to a higher level for everybody in our company. Our field operations and management are the heart of our organization. Project Managers, under the direction of our Construction Manager, are assigned to each project establishing direct communication with our Customer’s on-site personnel. Together they coordinate the balance of our field staff, subcontractors and vendors in performing the work. They are the key to the implementation of our QC program, our Hazard Analysis program, and the inevitable success of the job, by incorporating the six elements that encompass the balance of our Mission Statement,
